Roof tiles

Thankfully they managed to put up most of the tiles on Tuesday prior to the heavy rain we had on Wednesday. The alfresco roof is still to be tiled and it looks like they need to finish off the edges on the main roof. The guttering is not hooked up to anything at the moment so I can imagine big puddles down the sides of the house. We also found ourselves forking out extra cash to put up gutter guards. We thought they were to be included but found out they had not been written on the Tender.

As you can see from the image above they have almost finished the guttering, eves and gables. We have been pretty lucky with the rain so far but it has just poured and they are forecasting rain for the next week. I want a roof on soon please.

They have also been busy indoors doing all the gas and water plumbing as you can see from the kitchen area above. The poor floor is drenched from the rain.

They have completed the bricking this week and rendered the front of the house. No I assume they can bag-paint the remainder of the house and hopefully we will have roof tiles on soon.
